Weekly wrapup

Hello everyone 🙂

so this is the first time i am doing weekly wrapup and this week is quite adventurous for me . Traveled a lot of new places with my bookish friends. And i really wanted to share my experience with you guyz ♡

So here are the books which i read this week ^-^

I’d Tell You I Love You , But Then I Had To kill you by Ally Carter

synopsis-Cammie Morgan is a student at the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women, a fairly typical all-girls school-that is, if every school taught advanced martial arts in PE and the latest in chemical warfare in science, and students received extra credit for breaking CIA codes in computer class. The Gallagher Academy might claim to be a school for geniuses but it’s really a school for spies. Even though Cammie is fluent in fourteen languages and capable of killing a man in seven different ways, she has no idea what to do when she meets an ordinary boy who thinks she’s an ordinary girl. Sure, she can tap his phone, hack into his computer, or track him through town with the skill of a real “pavement artist”-but can she maneuver a relationship with someone who can never know the truth about her?

Demon Glass by Rachel Hawkins

synopsis- Sophie Mercer thought she was a witch. That was the whole reason she was sent to Hex Hall, a reform school for delinquent Prodigium (aka witches, shapeshifters, and fairies). But that was before she discovered the family secret, and that her hot crush, Archer Cross, is an agent for The Eye, a group bent on wiping Prodigium off the face of the earth

13 Little Blue Envelops by Maureen Johnson

synopsis- Everything about Ginny will change this summer, and it’s all because of 13 little blue envelopes…

Perfect summer read from Queen of Teen 2012

Ginny, aged 17, is left 13 little blue envelopes by her free-spirited young Aunt Peg. Little does she know just how much they will change her life…

• Inside envelope No 1 is money and instructions to buy a plane ticket.
• Inside envelope No 2 are directions to a specific London flat
• Inside envelope No 3 a note to Ginny says: Find a starving artist.
• And because of envelope No 4 Ginny and a man called Keith go to Scotland together, with somewhat disastrous – though utterly romantic – results.

Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine

synopsis-This beloved Newbery Honor-winning story about a feisty heroine is sure to enchant readers new and old.

At her birth, Ella of Frell receives a foolish fairy’s gift—the “gift” of obedience. Ella must obey any order, whether it’s to hop on one foot for a day and a half, or to chop off her own head! But strong-willed Ella does not accept her fate…

Against a bold backdrop of princes, ogres, giants, wicked stepsisters, and fairy godmothers, Ella goes on a quest to break the curse forever.

so thats it for this week 🙂

tell me what you think about these books and how many you read ?

Book Review -To the all boys I loved before by Jenny Han

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

(To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #1)

by Jenny Han (Goodreads Author)

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister’s ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.

Dear lara Jean ,

I am absolutely in love with your story and I would love to meet you in person. You taught me that what love is and give me really good explaination that everyone’s love story is different. yes i also get to know that we cant get everything in our life and we should be happy with what we have.

i also like the fact that we have one thing that is we cook when get depressed. you are really amazing girl. Thankyou for sharing your life story with us.

To be honest , initially when this book was released and i saw it everywhere on bookstalls , instagram post , it just dont excite me i had a feeling that its not my kind of book. But boy i was soo soo wrong. It actually became my topmost book.

It was actually the ad for Netflix movie that made me want to read it. After that ad i am like what the hell why i cant read that book Ahhh !! I am an idiot.

The story was soo quickery , cute little romance and hilarious. There was three song girl; Margot “the perfectionist ” ; Kitty “the hilarious one” and then theres our heroine Lara Jean “the dreamy romantic one ” . All three of them in love with next door neighbour Josh ;who is Margot ‘s boyfriend but Lara like him first even after there breakup he was off limits.

Lara Jean is a type of girl who writes letter to her crush and put in box but these letters were never meant to be out. But they are out one day each boy receives his letter and confronts her. she choose a very nice plan in order to not yo face Josh who also got a letter ; she ask peter to be in “fake relationship” . And he also helps her in order to get her ex back.

The ups and down which happen in this relation is very emotional . But in this ups and down they dont know when they actually started to like each other . It clearly depicts the US life and their love triangle .

Jenny Han really know how to choose her words and i would love to read her other books also .

Amazon Description
Halloween LaVeau is descended from a long line of witches. Yes, her name is Halloween. The cosmic universe is definitely playing some kind of sick joke on her. She’s the ultimate witch cliché, complete with a black cat and spooky house. Thank heavens she’s missing the warts and flying broom.
When Halloween inherits her great-aunt’s manor, she decides to put the house to good use as a bed-and-breakfast. Her first guest is the sinfully good-looking Nicolas Marcos, but he’s not here for the continental breakfast. Halloween discovers a ratty old book in the attic. It’s written in an unfamiliar language.
Halloween soon learns this is not an ordinary spellbook. The tome brings her a new talent, but her new skills come with a catch. When a rival witch comes after the book, Halloween doesn’t know who to trust-the sexy vampire who says he wants to save the day, or the warlock who says he can destroy the book once and for all.

☆☆stars / poor

The one thing which fascinates me about this book is its cover it looks cool and since childhood i am into witches and witchcraft but this book shattered my all expectation from witches. Our heroine Halloween who born on halloween is a worst witch of the year because she dose not know any kind of magic on top of that whenever she had any problem she get in her car and goes to her mom but after reaching there she just dont talk and came back . This stupidity doesnot end here in will of her great aunt she gets a large creeepy manor which she transform it into bed and breakfast a hotel till here its okay but who open door at midnight and allow stranger in home not one but two.

Her love life is also very fast there was no emotion everything is rushed with one of her paying guest. And she is also in delimma if she loves another one or not .

oh and also she got a mysterious book which is in different language but suddenly a wind came and its in english and wolah she perform that spell without any precaution and wakes up dead. Apparently that same book made her queen of underworld by certain law and also it attrack problem such as maya an evil which who is after that book .

There final fight is also rushed. Maya lost , Halloween becomes queen god knows how she dont even perform cerimonial rights or any kind of oath taken. Anyway liam goes to his way after kissing her and apparently to this time she is confused to whom she love but not even ten mintues are up liam came back and everyone off to underworld .

One of the best thing about this book is Annabelle heriones bestfriend got some brain and sincere enough to understand problem but sadly she is just plain human in world of witches.

over an all the friendship between these two is only thing which i like in this entire book.
